As someone who's actually studying psychology, I'm just gonna stop you right there. Yeah, there's a variety of different trauma responses that are well within the parameters for validity, but there are ALSO people who make shit up for attention and, as a result, don't know how to realistically portray trauma, because they don't actually have it and don't bother to learn from people who do.
